Cat Bed Anyone?

Weeeellll, I should've known better. Having used this yarn before (my size 15 mens slippers), I knew that this particular yarn doesn't shrink alot into itself, as opposed to straight, untweeded worsted or bulky yarns. That said, my bowl is not stiff enough to be a bowl, but it is an awesome (and large) cat bed. Does anyone need one? My cats have them already, so I'll happily give and/or mail this to anyone who could use one.

The felted slippers went much better and I like them a lot. They're not as fuzzy as Lamb's Pride, but just a stiff & formed. I'll definitely use Plymouth Galway again.

They do look beautiful!
Can the 'bowl' be run through the washer again?....

Oh Dana...the slippers are breath-taking..That's a 'mighty' 'purty'cat bed...but mine would destroy it..I wonder if it can't be 're-felted'..as Marianne is suggesting..too nice to just let fall by the wayside..get on that thinking cap..Merry Christmas Dana..hugs

Merry Christmas!! The slippers are adorable, and that is a smokin' cat bed. Actually, if you can't re-felt it and no-one else wants it, my soon-to-be roomies and I are going to get a cat as soon as we (hopefully) get this house we've found. I'd be honored to use your bowl..er.. cat bed!
