More Bowls

The holiday knitting has begun.

Last year, I promised myself that I would have my gift knitting done early. With that in mind, I made and felted five bowls this past weekend. I'm planning of filling each bowl with some kind of treat based upon each person's individual tastes.

I'd really like to knit some gift socks too, but I'm still very much a novice when it comes to socks, e.g. "Do you wear a size 6 to 10 shoe? Okay, I might have something that'll fit you." Personalizing socks to fit is still a bit out there for me.

And the other four bowls...

How amazing are you?!? LOVE the bowls...now... did you make up the pattern as you went along, as in, did you wing it? They are fabulous.

I don't even think I'll be doing any holiday knitting this year, well, maybe if I turn into Superwoman.... hey, it could happen.

RE: your last post and the comments,.... Julie's....lmao...
I'd pay good wool to be in a room with you two in it. with a few drinks? oh yeah.

Yes, Julie and I could have a lot of fun together and we wouldn't even need the booze - - poor Sam (have you seen hanging Tina yet on her blog?) & Julie's husband would be toast. Evil minds think alike...

Heeeheeeeheeee No, we wouldn't need drinks, but drinks would be fun :-)

p.s. Thanks so much for posting about Light the Night!
