Glorious Weekend

Honestly, folks, the weather this weekend couldn't have been more beautiful. The heat wave broke, the skies were clear, and the breeze was crisp and cool! Saturday morning, I threw open all the doors and windows and they stayed open until 8 p.m. that night.

I had a two project weekend and finished both jobs. The first job was to finish a pair of hats for a third pair of twins, Jamie & Emma. In the photo, Emma's hat looks orange, but it's actually a cherry red (stupid camera).

The second job was to mow the lawn and as you can see, I cut it within a 1/4 inch of the dirt. (Repeat after me: No more mowing this year, no more mowing this year). :)

Hope y'all had a great weekend too!

Oh, I had a great weekend alright! Though it did rain most of the day Sat. Didn't really bother me. Wasn't to bad on the trip down to the seaming party and was over by the time it was done. Sunday was a beautiful day to drive down to see the Harlot!
Those hats are cute, they must have been a quick knit too. Mowing is a pain, I hope you don't have to mow again this year.

Did you say third pair of twins???? Hopefully they weren't all to the same parents ;-)

Nice hats; it's really hard to capture red on camera!
