"The tissue wrapped package. I opened it up and was dumbfounded. The GULP/knot in my throat was the size of a tennis ball. I couldn't breathe, literally. I lifted out the Swallowtail and was awestruck and touched in a way that words cannot express. The thought of it, the memory of opening it, still brings tears to my eyes. It's so lovely, Marianne, and I don't know how to thank you enough. Whenever I need a hug, a boost, a bit of reaffirmation or comfort, that shawl is going to be there. I can't begin to describe how much it and you mean to me. I can only say thank you from the very bottom of my heart and I love you dearly too. And the color? Yes, you did get it right. :) Thank you so very, very much!"

That's a beautiful picture of you, Dana.
What a sweet, sweet friend Marianne is! She's a very special woman.
The photo is a testament to how much I like the shawl. :) I'm NEVER in front of the camera if I can help it.
Wow ... your friend gave you some great gifts! The swallowtail shawl is awesome! I understand the lump in your throat.
